How to Get a Natural Tan in the Winter
This last week has been tough for me. I took my kids on a cruise and haven’t posted any pictures because it was all so hard for me. I”m back now and I’ll recoup and return to my life; my wild crazy, filled with little balls of energy and curiosity life with my boys. For this moment:
As I lay back in my hot tub, I finally begin to relax. I’m alone, at least for now and enjoying every minute of it. When/If my boys find me I will no doubt love their playful and beautiful smiles as well. But for now, I have the chilled winter air on my exposed skin while the warm water engulfs me in its calmness.
I love being home. This home I’ve created is where I find and refine my peace after all the things I do. Some things I do undoubtedly bring chaos, I mean, most things I do with 4 young energetic boys is the definition of chaos.
There are times I feel it crash in on me, over and over and over. Having a haven to come back to is what soothes my soul. Here in my backyard overlooking the natural growth of the land just beyond my grass and having the hot tub to enjoy with it, is one of those places.
It’s like going to the spa for just a moment. Having a small moment of luxury without all the planning and effort to have spa time. I just retreat to my backyard. It’s so refreshing to me, a moment to rejuvenate.
So….how do you get a tan in the winter?

Step 4: Observe the things hiding in plain sight.
Step 5: Wiggle your toes and play
