Enough As You Are

There’s so many parenting fails I have. Probably the best one is when I was trying to be a Dad because my kids Dad died. And I was like; oh, I can step up and I can take that role.

And then I realized I really suck as a Dad. And then I decided to just be a really great mom. I’ve loved it ever since. Asking myself these questions and then finding the answers is the awesome part.

I found that the coolest part about asking the questions is that I do keep finding the answers. They are typically right within me.They are always the right thing for me.

I have come to understand this in a whole new way. I trust now that if and when there is a deep and troubling question that presents itself in my life; I know there is a beautiful answer.

It’s so powerful when you step into what your good at and let go of what you’re not. Being the best version of who you are, even when you feel like it’s not enough, is enough. It is. It is enough. You are enough as you are.
